A Discussion Session on the Palestinian Cause in Amman on the Sidelines of the Jordan Festival for Palestine Support

A discussion session on the Palestinian cause was held in the Jordanian capital, Amman, on the sidelines of the Jordan Festival for Palestine Support. The session was attended by several prominent figures, including former Yemeni President Ali Nasser Mohammed and his Defense Minister, former Iraqi Parliament Speaker Saleh al-Mutlaq, Chairman of the Arab Satellite Broadcasting Organization, Mr. Mohammad Al-Adaila, Media Coordinator at the European-Arab Friendship Association, Dr. Akram Khazem, as well as Egyptian Senator Khaled Abdel Moneim, Iraqi academic Dr. Abdul Hussein Shaban, and Chairman of the European-Arab Friendship Association, Franco Abdelkader Omeich.

The session aimed to exchange views and ideas on ways to support the Palestinian cause in light of the current challenges. The discussions focused on the political, economic, and social dimensions of the issue, emphasizing "the importance of uniting Arab and international efforts to support the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people."

Participants addressed "the importance of strengthening national unity among various Palestinian factions, and the need to return to the negotiation table to reach a fair and comprehensive solution." The role of the international community was also highlighted, calling for pressure on the Israeli occupation to stop the ongoing violations against the Palestinian people.

The session concluded with recommendations "to enhance joint Arab action and create effective mechanisms to support the Palestinian cause at all levels, emphasizing the need for continued dialogue and cooperation among all stakeholders to achieve the desired goals. This session represents an important step in strengthening Arab and international solidarity with the Palestinian people and their just cause."
