The "European-Arab Friendship Association," based in Switzerland, welcomed the International Criminal Court's decision to issue an arrest warrant for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant.
This statement was made today by the association’s president, Franco Abdelkader Omeich.
He affirmed that this decision "represents a victory for the victims who fell in Gaza and other areas of Palestine, at the hands of Netanyahu, his army, and his defense minister."
He added that "the decision proves that the international community does not accept the impunity of crimes against humanity, such as starving an entire population, besieging them, and preventing medicine and food from reaching them, in addition to bombing and completely destroying civilian homes without punishment."
The European-Arab Friendship Association called on all countries to comply with the International Criminal Court's decision by arresting Netanyahu and Gallant as soon as they arrive on their territories.
